Bio

The Huntsville Times: Funeral services for Mrs. Ivadell Hickerson, age 76, of the Vann Town Community, who died at her residence after an extended illness, were conducted in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. B. H. Berry and Rev. Doyle Johnston officiating; burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. She was a native of Perry County, Tennessee, a member of the Methodist Church and the daughter of the late George and Algie Lenoria Cooper Jackson. Survivors include her husband, Mr. John Curtis Hickerson; two daughters, Mrs. Nelda Faye McCulley of Huntsville, Ala., and Miss Cathy Hickerson of Fayetteville, Tennessee; three sons, Alton Hickerson of Elora, Tennessee, Tommy Hickerson of Hazel Green, Alabama, and Johnny Hickerson of Belfast, Tennessee; one brother, George Jackson of Hazel Green, Alabama; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
