CPL US ARMY WORLD WAR II Jimmie Warren Mashburn, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2005. He was born January 26, 1924 to Thomas Alexander Mashburn and Nora Lelia Johnson in Stanton, Texas. Jimmie proudly served his country during World War II, European Theatre, in the U.S. Army. He attended Texas Tech University. On March 27, 1952, he married Dorothy Davis in Stanton, Texas. Prior to his retirement, Jimmie was a cabinet maker. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Midland. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Loy Mashburn and Allen Mashburn, and sisters, Faula Walters and Ida Bell Shull. Jimmie is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mashburn of Midland, TX; one nephew and four nieces. Graveside services have been scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the Permian Basin Area Foundation, 550 W.
