He was the son of William Tom and Fannie Louise (Taylor) Jackson and married Georgia Mildred Baker - 17 Feb 1945 - Madison Co., Alabama. He later married Lula Mae Painter. His obituary follows: Alex Hugh Jackson of Elora died Sunday at Veterans Hospital in Nashville following a long illness. He was 49 years old. Services were Tuesday at Gallant Funeral Home with the Rev. Leslie Jacobs officiating. Burial was in Elora Cemetery. Mr. Jackson was a native of Lincoln County and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lula Mae Painter Jackson, Elora; mother, Mrs. Fannie Jackson, Hartselle, Alabama; and two daughters, Mrs. Louise Tyler, Starkville, Mississippi, and Mrs. Joyce Ann Sisk, Douglas, Georgia.
