Mary Grace Williams Worden, 77, of West Lafayette, died unexpectedly at 9:50 AM Tuesday [June 5, 1985] in Westminster Health Center. She had lived at Westminster Village the past eight years. Born Feb. 21, 1908, at Des Moines, IA, she was married there on Oct. 1, 1930, to Roger Stanley Worden, who died in 1972. Mrs. Worden was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy (Mrs. Stuart) Ponpian of Haverhill, NH; a son, Donald W. Worden of Stowe, MA; two sisters, Miss Nell Williams of San Diego, CA, and Mrs. Florence Christensen of Des Moines, IA; and three grandchildren. --Lafayette Journal & Courier - Wed 6/5/1985, page 10
