Per his brother-in-law's biographical sketch in "History of Harrison County, Iowa", 1891 and other sources: John Bernard FERGUSON was born on April 25, 1863 in Magnolia, Harrison County, Iowa and died on February 28, 1944 in Rocklin, Placer County, California. He was a son of William P. and Susan Ferguson. -------------- According to the California death index great grandpa John Bernard Ferguson died in Alameda County, California.
