born to Frank and Mary (Hollents) Bernholtz. wed on February 25, 1913. 4 children..Earl, Robert, Kenneth, and Velma. Mrs. Carl Holmes RANDOLPH, Neb. - Mrs. Carl Holmes, 89, of Randolph died Thursday In a hospital at Osmond. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the. United Methodist Church in Randolph. The Rev. Arthur Winkler of Pierce will officiate. Burial will be in the Randolph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Johnson Funeral Home at Randolph. Mrs. Holmes, the former Clara Bernholtz, was born March 31, 1893, at Carroll, Iowa. She married Carl C. Holmes. He died May 14, 1970. She moved to Colonial Manor in Randolph in December of 1977. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bob (Velma) Meyer of Randolph; one son, Bob of Santa Barbara, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Haselhorst of Randolph and Mrs. Maude Cole of Stockton, Calif.; two grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
