D 1st Frontier District Texas, An unmarked grave. B. McHam is found in the Daughters of the American Revolution Cemetery Collection compiled in 1940, parts of which were donated by the Joseph Ligon Chapter of Paris & copied by Sallie Lee Lightfoot of Paris. The book was located in the Corsicana Genealogical Library, Corsicana, TX., & copied by Betsy Mills & Elizabeth House. From the records of Lamar #258 United Daughters of the Confederacy: Awarded Cross of Military Service on Oct. 30, 1906. He served as Private, Co. C, 1st Regiment, Texas Sharpshooters.
