Bio

the Carroll Chronicle, Carrollton, Ohio, Friday, August 22,1930. Mrs. Anna Lowmiller, widow of the late John Lowmiller, died of the infirmities of age at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. H. Wise, 231 Second Street, S.E., at 2 p.m. Monday. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. and were conducted by Rev. Earl Stainbrook, her pastor. The deceased was a daughter of Gabriel Sell and Nancy Jane (Lacey) Sell and was born in Perry Township on August 30, 1848. In 1866 she was married to John Lowmiller, a veteran of the civil war, who died May 24, 1920. Mrs. Lowmiller is survived by her daughter C. H. Wise, and three grandchildren, Raymond and Herbert Wise and Mrs. P. C. Beatty of Carrollton. Mrs. Lowmiller was the last survivor of eight children. She was a devout Lutheran and a member of the Carrollton Church. Information researched by Richard Paul Culler of Carrollton, Ohio.
